Medical Student Externship

Externship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Methodist Health System

Our Medical Student Externship program is designed for fourth-year medical students who are interested in pursuing a career in Internal Medicine or Obstetrics & Gynecology and considering Methodist Dallas Medical Center as a potential program for residency training.

Eligible students are those who are currently attending medical school in the U.S. or Canada. The externship consists of four week block rotations where the students will receive excellent training in the management of inpatients and outpatient care.

Interested Medical Students are to apply via Visiting Student Application Service (VSAS) by the AAMC. Only those applications will be reviewed and considered for an externship.
