Being accepted within a residency, in your chosen specialty, is the next step after Medical School graduation. Here at Methodist, you will receive hands-on experience, practicing medicine under the supervision of seasoned professionals guiding you to become successful physicians. Methodist offers residency in the following programs:

At Methodist Dallas Medical Center:

  • General Surgery
  • Internal Medicine
  • Obstetrics-Gynecology

At Methodist Charlton Medical Center:

  • Family Medicine

After completion of medical residency, and you have a desire to further your medical career within a Medical Sub Specialty, Methodist also offers the following fellowships:

At Methodist Dallas Medical Center:

  • Cardiovascular Disease
  • Gastroenterology
  • Nephrology
  • Surgical Critical Care

At Methodist Richardson Medical Center:

  • Complex Gastrointestinal/Foregut Surgery
  • Hepatopancreaticobiliary Surgery
