On July 28, 2015, the Charles A. Sammons Trauma and Critical Care Tower will be 1 year old! We’re celebrating twelve months dedicated to serving North Texas with emergency trauma, critical care, and neuroscience services.
Methodist Dallas is a Level I Trauma Center, and one of only three adult trauma centers in Dallas County. In addition, it is the only adult trauma center in the southern Dallas area.
The Tower has expanded the capacity of Methodist Dallas, enabling the hospital to treat 90,000 patients annually. In addition, the hospital can provide more technology and direct patients more quickly to appropriate care with less wait time. The Charles A. Sammons Tower is just one example of Methodist Health System's ongoing commitment to improve and save lives in the North Texas region.
Celebrate with Snow Cones & Well Wishes
Now it’s time to celebrate with a birthday party! We want to share our excitement with the community and employees. On July 28th, the Methodist Health System Foundation, headed by April Box Chamberlain, will be providing a “party in a box” to staff in the Tower so they can celebrate and share their pictures.
And we want you to join in! Please go to our celebration page and share some birthday wishes and what the Tower means to you. The Foundation will be hosting a virtual celebration on their website, sharing the photos and comments they’ve collected. When you submit your well wishes, you’ll get a voucher good for free snow cones for up to three people. The treats from Kona Snow Cones will be available in the Tower parking lot on Colorado Boulevard, next to the Tower/Emergency Department, on July 28th from 2 to 4 p.m.
The Charles A Sammons Tower means a lot to Methodist Health System and the Dallas community, so we hope that you will join us to celebrate this milestone!
Will is currently interning in the PR and Marketing Department at Methodist Health System. He is studying Communications at The University of Arizona.
